How to translate the visitor facing strings. Confusingly, the core module Interface Translation that we will use is not limited to only the back-end admin UI (the part that uses the admin theme). See #2864972: Content and interface translation don't clearly separate.

Steps

  1. Enable the Drupal core module Interface Translation.
  2. Make sure you have at least two languages enabled on the site at admin/config/regional/language
  3. Go to admin/config/regional/translate
  4. Filter on Permalink in the field String contains.
  5. Provide a translation in the right column (if not already there).
  6. Repeat from step #4 and do the same for the strings:
    • HTML code to copy to your site or email message:
    • Click below to select, Ctrl + C to copy.
    • Right-click to    (two occurrences)
  7. If you have additional languages enabled, repeat from step #4 but now change the filter field Translation language.

Consider contributing your translations on Drupal 8 translation status | Translations.
