We are working on porting Feeds to Drupal 8. A lot of functionality is duplicated between the Migrate module and the Feeds module. In this survey we would like to know how you use these and similar import/export modules and what functionality you like but still miss in Drupal 8.

We will use the results of this survey to prototype and plan import/export functionality for Drupal 8.
We did not decide yet if this will be done in the Feeds module or if we take a different approach.

Please take the survey.

Hi, I am interested in the issue and would like to contribute. Is this survey still open?

If not maybe the link to the google dock could now be ommited?

Cheers,
Nefeli.

Hello...! Any advance with D8 Feeds...?

I need it to go ahead with a pro bono project for an NGO. They need to be able to create once a month from 50 and up to 500 one-field nodes which is populated with an official alphanumeric string, which later is used as a reference to be used in yet another content type and all boiled down to a views powered report.

Since the people who will be using this feature are non tech, Migrate + migrate_plus + migrate_tools + migrate_source_csv are ruled out.

So maybe I'll have to do everything in D7. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Warm regards from sunny México...!

@PepeMty
You can try the patch from #2669974: Implement the CSV parser UI for CSV support, though it isn't quite finished yet and may result into warning messages. You could also try the alternative for CSV import: Content Import.

Wow...!!! Now that was a prompt reply.

I really appreciate it.

I'll have a good look at the patch and the other module.

Thanks a lot, really.

Warmest regards...

I'll have a go at the survey. My main need from Feeds module, is I need a tool to take an RSS feed which is a list of podcasts, and allow me to allow a visitor to my D8 site to listen to a podcast. The feed is updated about once a week.
