This module provides a AVIF processor for the ImageAPI Optimize module. When added to a pipeline, a .avif derivative is created from the source image, providing 2 versions of a styled image.
Check the current browser support at Can I use.
Note that AVIF will only be supported through GD in PHP 8.1+.
So if you're not runnning PHP 8.1+ this module currently will do nothing.
